LightSprint
Building software the multiplayer way.

LightSprint
Brand, Website, Product
Historically, most people who have a say in a product rarely touched the code. Until recently. However, it’s still largely a localhost experience, with little shared direction or execution at team level. What does building software together look like, especially with non-builders in the loop? And how does it scale?
Lightsprint set out to build an environment where developers, designers and product managers collaborate within guardrails.
Collaboration you can see
We chose collaboration as the central idea of the identity, reinforcing the thought: “Hey, you’re a marketer, but you can build in real time with developers, and your insight shapes the product as it happens.”
We evolved the original toned down orange into a vivid one and paired it with an ownable background pattern. Together they make the brand more energetic and give it a more consumer feel.
At the same time, sharpness and precision come through in the detail: skeuomorphic surfaces, and grid-based text overlays that match the page background.

Logo evolution
The first version of the logo had a nice idea behind it as it resembled a kanban board, with tickets moving quickly through each phase and landing in done. The problem was that it felt unbalanced and didn’t hold up well at small sizes.
We reworked it to keep the original idea, but gave it dynamism that can be seen inside the product itself. The logo indicates progress, can be used as a loading spinner, and lives alongside the agents as they work.

The most impressive part was their proactivity. They found rough edges we hadn’t spotted ourselves and fixed them on the fly. Even when we were perfectly happy with the result, they still shipped a few improvements because something was itching them.
